Product Details
Coupling is a kind of pipe fittings.Used to connect two pipes or change the flow rate of the pipeline.Pipe couplings are highly demanded in the market.
Forged coupling is a high pressure pipe coupling.It is made from round steel bar,and then machining the socket bores by CNC machine.Socket weld coupling can bear higher pressures than threaded couplings.
Forged couplings have two different connection methods to the pipes:threading and socket welding.Therefore there are three types of forge coupling: socket weld couplings,threaded couplings and socket weld to threaded couplings.
Accoding to the ends,Forged socket weld couplings have two types: full coupling socket weld and half coupling socket weld.Socket weld full coupling has both ends with socket welded;SW half coupling is only one end socket welded,the other end can be welded directly to a pipe.
According to the shapes,socket weld couplings can be divided into Straight coupling and reducing coupling socket weld.
